Started her career as a magazine designer on home, cookery and gardening magazines. Posts included Art Director on Living magazine, ‘A la Carte’ magazine, and on Gardening Which? before becoming Editor there for several years.

Julia is now Editor of The Cottage Gardener, the quarterly journal of The Cottage Garden Society, and a professional garden photographer.

Julia's garden photography is sold through GAP Photos and Camera Press

Julia also designs and produces garden cards which she sells through various Art galleries and garden shops.
